“O-LIVE 1 APARTMENTS “is a housing complex of O-LIVE private company that is active in the field of real estate development and construction management in Messinia and especially in Kalamata, the capital of the prefecture. Kalamata is a coastal city and port in the southern part of Peloponnese and its second largest city with significant economic and tourist interest. It has an international airport with flights to European destinations.
The O-LIVE 1 APARTMENTS housing complex is located in a very quite neighborhood in the southern part of Kalamata city on a pedestrian street named Thermopylon. Its situated literally next to the city harbour and the Municipal Railway Park of Kalamata which is an open-air museum unique of its kind in Greece. It is developed in two buildings with different uses, one that concerns a business of four rented apartments and one that includes four residential apartments.
For the smooth and orderly operation of these different uses, the two buildings are designed with full autonomy but under a single morphological language, which takes into account at the same time the Messinian landscape and climate.
The building reflects elements from life in the Messinian countryside as well as from life in the city today. This is how a new architectural language is formed, which in combination with the high quality of construction aims to create living spaces of high standards that meet the needs of the city, and aim at improving the living of its inhabitants.
